Overview
The Billing & E-Filing Clerk will save electronic filings and create draft billing entries for timekeeper review ensuring accuracy at scale. This role supports attorneys by providing clerical assistance and contributes to efficient prebill generation. It offers direct impact on daily operations and firm efficiency.
What You'll Do8
- 1Save electronic filings to the case management system using the E-Service platform
- 2Draft billing entries for electronic filings for timekeeper review
- 3Ensure prebills are issued by the second business day of each month
- 4Assist with write-off and invoice adjustments as needed
- 5Revise pre-bills and handle cost invoicing and client costs
- 6Provide accounts receivable support upon request
- 7Report directly to the People and Operations Manager and Lead Paralegal
- 8Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and support staff
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons managing complex billing systems
- 3CPC Card certification preferred
- 4AWS Certified experience beneficial
- 55+ years experience with data tools
