Overview

You will own medication access coordination for a behavioral health clinic in Katy, TX, connecting patients to Genoa pharmacy services and resolving prescription barriers. Working on-site at 323 S Mason Rd, you will partner with clinic staff, providers, and pharmacy teams to reduce delays and improve adherence. Your work directly impacts patient outcomes and clinic satisfaction. This role offers a stable schedule with Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and the support of UnitedHealth Group.

What You'll Do9

  • 1Serve as an on-site pharmacy resource, building relationships with clinic staff, providers, and Genoa pharmacy teams.
  • 2Support prescription routing and prior authorizations, resolving delays to keep therapy on track.
  • 3Monitor prescription status and proactively troubleshoot issues with insurers and pharmacies.
  • 4Recruit and enroll patients into Genoa services, explaining benefits and addressing concerns.
  • 5Conduct adherence outreach and manage refill requests to improve medication compliance.
  • 6Coordinate medication delivery where permitted by Texas state regulations.
  • 7Maintain accurate documentation and insurance information in EHR and pharmacy systems.
  • 8Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulations, protecting patient privacy.
  • 9Identify workflow gaps and support process improvements to streamline clinic-pharmacy coordination.

Requirements10

  • 1High School Diploma/GED and active Pharmacy Technician License in Texas (not trainee).
  • 23+ years of pharmacy, healthcare, or related experience.
  • 3Bilingual in Spanish and English with strong communication skills.
  • 4Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow processes in a clinic environment.
  • 5Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to other sites.
  • 6National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
  • 7Experience with prior authorizations and insurance processes preferred.
  • 8Behavioral health or community care experience preferred.
  • 9Familiarity with EHR or pharmacy systems preferred.
  • 10Proficiency in Microsoft Office and patient engagement or enrollment experience preferred.
