What You'll Do7

  • 1Supervise and engage infants and toddlers in daily activities that foster motor, cognitive, and social growth.
  • 2Implement educational and play-based programs aligned with Montessori principles and bilingual curriculum.
  • 3Keep the classroom and daycare environment clean, organized, and safe at all times.
  • 4Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to the lead teacher or supervisor immediately.
  • 5Assist with meal preparation, feeding, diaper changing, and cleaning as needed.
  • 6Lead learning activities that support language development in both English and Spanish.
  • 7Ensure child safety and well-being during indoor and outdoor play, transitions, and rest periods.

Requirements7

  • 12-4 ECE units or currently enrolled in an early childhood education program.
  • 2Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • 3Certification in CPR and First Aid (paid by the academy if not already certified).
  • 4Previous experience with children in a daycare, preschool, or babysitting setting is preferred.
  • 5Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • 6Strong communication skills and patience when interacting with young children.
  • 7Passion for working with children and providing a nurturing environment.
