Overview
Highly skilled Bentley OpenBuildings BIM Modeler joins our team to build detailed 3D BIM models. You will create accurate and constructible building models supporting project design and construction documentation.
What You'll Do11
- 1Create and develop detailed 3D BIM models using Bentley OpenBuildings and other CAD software tools such as Revit ArchiCAD MicroStation and Rhino3D
- 2Collaborate with architects engineers and project managers to produce schematic designs construction details and documentation
- 3Integrate building code analysis into BIM models to ensure compliance with local regulations
- 4Utilize SketchUp Grasshopper 3D Bluebeam AutoCAD SolidWorks and 3ds Max for modeling drafting and visualization tasks
- 5Conduct clash detection and coordination among various disciplines within the BIM environment
- 6Assist in developing schematics and technical drawings that support engineering design and construction processes
- 7Maintain organized project files and ensure accuracy in all BIM deliverables
- 8Perform 3D CAD modeling for architectural or structural projects in a construction environment
- 9Interpret schematics technical drawings and construction documents accurately
- 10Apply graphic design principles and 2D animation for project presentations
- 11Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
Requirements8
- 1Proven experience with building information modeling tools such as Bentley OpenBuildings Revit ArchiCAD MicroStation or Rhino3D
- 2Strong proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD SolidWorks SketchUp Bluebeam and 3ds Max
- 3Solid understanding of construction detail documentation and engineering CAD design principles
- 4Knowledge of building code compliance and analysis techniques
- 5Experience with 3D CAD modeling for architectural or structural projects
- 6Ability to interpret schematics technical drawings and construction documents
- 7Familiarity with graphic design principles and 2D animation
- 8Excellent communication skills for collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
