What You'll Do11
- 1Provide general administrative support for benefit and leave programs, including processing transactions and maintaining documentation in Workday
- 2Process employee benefit elections and leave of absence requests while ensuring accurate record keeping
- 3Manage Workday alerts and follow up on missing documents to achieve first contact resolution
- 4Handle payroll adjustments and update employee information in Workday
- 5Communicate with employees and HR regarding leave of absence requests
- 6Maintain carrier contact information and process vendor notices
- 7Assist with annual audits for benefits and leave processes
- 8Evaluate and distribute ACA health plan offers and 1095-C tax documents
- 9Protect employee confidentiality and uphold FERPA regulations
- 10Promote an inclusive environment reflecting student and employee diversity
- 11Conduct research on public service loan forgiveness and additional discount programs
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma with related benefit experience or associate's degree preferred
- 2Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 3Experience with Workday or other HRIS systems
- 4Self-motivated with strong customer service skills
- 5Ability to prioritize and manage high-volume detailed work
- 6Strong written communication and confidentiality skills
