What You'll Do9

  • 1Implement behavior support plans with fidelity, adjusting strategies based on client needs and rapport.
  • 2Document behavioral data and progress notes accurately using Central Reach and internal systems.
  • 3Communicate client progress to the clinical team to support treatment planning and continuity of care.
  • 4Maintain professional composure during behavioral situations, using rational detachment strategies.
  • 5Set up therapy areas and prepare materials for sessions, following each client's schedule.
  • 6Assist with group and peer activities, promoting skill acquisition through client interests.
  • 7Ensure client safety and hygiene, teaching self-help and adaptive skills.
  • 8Complete all required documentation, checklists, and progress reports on time.
  • 9Participate in staff development and training, applying feedback immediately and consistently.

Requirements9

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2No prior experience required; training provided.
  • 3Ability to work 1:1 with clients for up to 6 hours per day.
  • 4Physical ability to change diapers, provide toilet training, and run after clients.
  • 5Willingness to substitute for other staff and work with clients on irregular schedules.
  • 6Commitment to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards.
  • 7Reliable attendance and punctuality, following work schedule.
  • 8Ability to accept constructive feedback and implement corrections.
  • 9Meet productivity requirement of 1,200 hours per year.
