Overview
You will implement ABA therapy for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in their homes. You will own skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs under a Case Supervisor. You will collaborate with Speech and Occupational Therapists. This role includes paid training and supervision hours toward BACB certification.
What You'll Do6
- 1Implement skill acquisition programs to teach social, communication, and daily living skills.
- 2Implement behavior reduction programs using crisis management and de-escalation techniques.
- 3Collect and graph data on client progress.
- 4Conduct parent education sessions.
- 5Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists.
- 6Drive to clients' homes and maintain reliable transportation.
Requirements5
- 12+ years experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or related disabilities.
- 2Passion for Psychology, Sociology, Education, Human Services, or Social Work.
- 3Valid driver's license and named on current auto insurance policy.
- 4High energy, compassionate, and patient with a desire to learn ABA.
- 5Willing to complete Supervised Independent Fieldwork hours for BACB certification.
