What You'll Do8

  • 1Provide one-on-one therapy to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 2-18.
  • 2Build rapport with clients and families to foster trust and progress.
  • 3Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
  • 4Collect and record data electronically on client behavior and skill acquisition.
  • 5Adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic environment of each session.
  • 6Collaborate with clinical leadership and peers to ensure consistent care.
  • 7Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
  • 8Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.

Requirements8

  • 1High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2Willingness to complete RBT training and certification (paid by Avid ABA).
  • 3Reliable transportation to client locations in the Detroit area.
  • 4Capacity to pass a background check.
  • 5Physical ability to keep up with active children, including kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 7Comfort using tablets or smartphones for data collection.
  • 8Availability to work flexible weekday hours (no weekends).
