What You'll Do8
- 1Provide one-on-one therapy to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 2-18.
- 2Build rapport with clients and families to foster trust and progress.
- 3Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
- 4Collect and record data electronically on client behavior and skill acquisition.
- 5Adapt to the fast-paced, dynamic environment of each session.
- 6Collaborate with clinical leadership and peers to ensure consistent care.
- 7Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- 8Maintain a safe, engaging, and positive therapeutic environment.
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Willingness to complete RBT training and certification (paid by Avid ABA).
- 3Reliable transportation to client locations in the Detroit area.
- 4Capacity to pass a background check.
- 5Physical ability to keep up with active children, including kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7Comfort using tablets or smartphones for data collection.
- 8Availability to work flexible weekday hours (no weekends).
