Behavior Technician (BT/RBT), ABA Therapy for Autism
Overview
You will provide direct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in their homes, implementing individualized behavior plans and collecting data on treatment goals. You'll collaborate closely with a supervising BCBA to adjust strategies, while supporting families with progress updates. What You'll Do7
- 1Provide direct ABA therapy to children with autism in home settings, following individualized behavior plans.
- 2Collect and record data on treatment goals during each session, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- 3Collaborate with the supervising BCBA to implement and adjust behavior plans based on client progress.
- 4Support families by sharing strategies and providing regular progress updates.
- 5Engage children in communication, social, and independence-building activities.
- 6Maintain reliable attendance for scheduled sessions and communicate promptly with supervisors.
- 7Adapt therapy techniques to each child's unique needs and learning style.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred.
- 2Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within the Middlesex area.
- 3Availability for after-school hours and/or weekends, with flexible part-time shifts.
- 4Passion for helping children and families, with experience in childcare or similar roles preferred.
- 5Ability to follow behavior plans and data collection protocols with fidelity.
- 6Strong communication skills to interact with children, families, and clinical supervisors.
