Behavior Technician, Autism Clinic & ABA Services in Austin
Overview
RBT and Behavior Technician role at Hope in Austin, TX. You will support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through ABA-based interventions, under supervision of BCBAs and licensed therapists. You will help collect session data, track progress, and support families in understanding outcomes. This is a full-time onsite position with competitive pay and benefits. What You'll Do8
- 1Build rapport with children and families while implementing ABA interventions to advance communication and early learning goals.
- 2Design and document session data to track progress and inform treatment planning, reporting to the treatment team.
- 3Own preparation for clinic-based group activities and smooth session flow within the Hope Autism Clinic.
- 4Scale daily routines and activities to support individualized goals in collaboration with BCBAs and licensed therapists.
- 5Ship consistent, professional communication with families about progress and outcomes.
- 6Debug data collection processes and help ensure accurate attendance and session notes.
- 7Lead by example with professional appearance and attitudes in all interactions.
- 8Drive a positive, supportive environment that fosters progress and family trust.
Requirements6
- 1Must be 18 years or older
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3Successful background clearance
- 4Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or human services
- 5Preferred: RBT credential from BACB
- 6Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus
