As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will own behavioral support across 3-4 school sites near Maple Grove, MN, for the 2025-2026 school year. What You'll Do7

  • 1Implement PBIS strategies and interventions across assigned school sites, focusing on positive behavior supports.
  • 2Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze behavioral data to drive decision-making.
  • 3Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure individualized programming for students.
  • 4Train school staff in behavioral best practices, including de-escalation and positive reinforcement.
  • 5Maintain safety and a positive environment for all students, responding flexibly to crisis situations.
  • 6Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines in all behavioral interventions.
  • 7Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans for students with behavioral needs.

Requirements7

  • 1Proven experience as a Behavior Specialist, BCBA, or Special Education Teacher.
  • 2Tier 3 or 4 MN teaching license required if applying as a Special Education Teacher.
  • 3Strong background in PBIS and positive behavior interventions.
  • 4Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • 5Expertise in developing individualized education plans, compliance, and crisis intervention.
  • 6Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
  • 7RBTs are not eligible for this position.
