Bartender/Barista, Craft Cocktails & Specialty Coffee
Overview
You will own the barista station and bar service at Soho House Nashville, delivering high-volume beverage craft for members and guests. You will prepare espresso drinks, craft cocktails, and seasonal offerings while maintaining a polished, welcoming space. Working with a tight-knit team of bartenders and barbacks, you will keep the bar pristine and stocked. You will train through House Tonic to master our global beverage program and elevate the guest experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, teas, and specialty beverages per Soho House recipes and standards.
- 2Craft cocktails using seasonal ingredients and maintain a globally consistent beverage program.
- 3Keep your section spotless: wash glassware, sanitize tools, and clear guest areas after each use.
- 4Educate guests on drink options, daily specials, and food pairings to boost sales and enhance their visit.
- 5Check IDs and monitor alcohol service to comply with age and safety regulations.
- 6Arrange bottles and glassware into attractive displays that highlight featured drinks and increase sales.
- 7Manage inventory, restock supplies, and delegate refills to Barbacks.
- 8Process payments accurately through the cash register and Micros POS system.
Requirements9
- 12+ years in a high-volume food and beverage operation.
- 2Craft cocktail experience with perishable, seasonally influenced ingredients.
- 3Coffee-making experience, a plus.
- 4Ability to multitask and fill drink orders consistently and quickly.
- 5Strong communication and people skills.
- 6Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- 7Tips certified.
- 8Micros experience, a plus.
- 9Physical stamina: stand for 8 hours, lift 40 pounds, and move swiftly across the club.
