What You'll Do37
- 1Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests at the bar
- 2Set up bar and bar area according to resort standards
- 3Cut fruit and prepare garnishes as set by resort standards
- 4Consistently keep the bar area organized and clean
- 5Know all specialty cocktail ingredients and garnishes
- 6Participate in updated training for the bar and menu items
- 7Follow pouring procedures using jiggers for accurate measurements
- 8Notify supervisors immediately of product shortages or out-of-stock items
- 9Have knowledge of draft beer systems and how to change a keg
- 10Answer questions on menu selections and drinks to servers and guests
- 11Communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions wait times and product availability
- 12Record all transactions in MICROS system at time of order
- 13Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverage
- 14Maintain cleanliness of work areas china glass and other items
- 15Complete closing duties including restocking items turning off lights
- 16Present physical accurate check to guests and process payments
- 17Ensure uniform and professional appearance
- 18Welcome and acknowledge guests according to resort standards
- 19Anticipate and address guest service needs
- 20Speak with others using clear professional language
- 21Develop and maintain positive working relationships support team goals
- 22Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- 23Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance
- 24Thank guests with genuine appreciation

- 26Notify manager or supervisor promptly about suspicious ID cards and/or intoxicated guests
- 27Handle proper cash handling of banks
- 28Timely transfer of checks for guests being moved to a different section

- 10Experience education and licensure High School Diploma or GED some college or degree preferred TIPS certification or become certified within 30 days of hire
- 11Current Food Handlers card
- 12Previous bartending experience in a professional setting is preferred
