Bartender, Mixologist & Guest Service
Overview
Serve beverages and food with TIPS certification, delivering high guest satisfaction. Work within a team at HHM Hotels, reporting to the Beverage Manager or Restaurant Supervisor. Your role owns the bar experience, from drink preparation to managing guest checks and maintaining cleanliness. This position offers a growth path to Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Manager.
What You'll Do9
- 1Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks, maintaining clean and organized bar areas.
- 2Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol purchase.
- 3Prepare and serve drink and food orders, taking orders and serving guests seated at tables in bar and lounge areas.
- 4Issue guest checks and complete the payment process.
- 5Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests.
- 6Complete beverage requisitions to maintain par levels, and assist with taking beverage inventory.
- 7Complete required side work prior to shift end and follow EarthView sustainability guidelines.
- 8Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- 9Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
Requirements4
- 1High school diploma preferred.
- 2TIPS certified a plus.
- 3Previous bartending/mixologist experience required or equivalent training.
- 4Food Sanitation certificate a plus, required within 90 days of employment.
