Overview

You will own the early morning guest experience at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside Atlanta Airport (ATL), serving premium coffee and tea to travelers as they start their day. You will join a socially responsible company that values guest service and internal growth, with General Managers often starting as baristas. What You'll Do8

  • 1Greet and guide each guest through their coffee experience from arrival to farewell, delivering exceptional service at every step.
  • 2Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision, following brand recipes and standards.
  • 3Educate guests about our coffee origins, brewing methods, and sustainability initiatives to deepen their appreciation.
  • 4Handle transactions accurately using the POS system, manage cash, and process credit card payments.
  • 5Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including restocking supplies, wiping counters, and ensuring equipment is ready for the next shift.
  • 6Collaborate with team members to manage peak morning rush, prioritizing orders and supporting each other for efficiency.
  • 7Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handwashing and sanitation of tools and surfaces.
  • 8Engage with guests to generate repeat business, inviting them to join our loyalty program and share their feedback.

Requirements8

  • 16+ months experience in customer service, food service, or barista roles, ideally in fast-paced settings.
  • 2Excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
  • 3Ability to work flexible early morning hours, including weekends and holidays, at the airport location.
  • 4Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
  • 5Capacity to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • 6Food handler certification or willingness to obtain it within the first 30 days.
  • 7High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 8Prior experience at high-volume chains like Starbucks, Panera Bread, or McDonald's is a plus.
