Barista (Brewista) - Drive-Thru Coffee Stand
Overview
You will own the full customer experience at 7 Brew's drive-thru stand: taking orders, crafting drinks, and uplifting every guest. You'll work on a tight-knit Brew Crew team, reporting to shift leaders and stand management. This role sets the tone for 7 Brew's mission of kindness, with real ownership over speed, accuracy, and connection. The result: every shift moves with urgency and warmth, even during rushes.
What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers and confirm drink orders, then key them into the POS system with accuracy.
- 2Collect payments and count back change correctly, handling cash with care.
- 3Prepare all drinks and premixes, following 7 Brew recipes and quality standards.
- 4Move with urgency during peak hours, on the customer's time, to keep the drive-thru flowing.
- 5Stay productive during slow periods: stock, clean, and prep for the next wave.
- 6Build genuine connections with regulars through eye contact, smiles, and open body language.
- 7Know the entire menu and customizations, and guide customers to their perfect drink, offering suggestions.
- 8Follow shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores, and arrive clocked in and ready at your assigned station.
- 9Maintain a safe and hygienic work area per OSHA standards and 7 Brew sanitation regulations.
- 10Treat every teammate and customer with respect, contributing to a positive stand culture.
Requirements10
- 16+ months of customer service experience, ideally in food service or retail.
- 2Comfortable with hot water, coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
- 3Able to work outside for long shifts in any weather, including rain, heat, or cold.
- 4Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on your feet for hours.
- 5Able to climb a ladder and use a stepladder safely for stocking.
- 6Able to move freely: standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, twisting, and squatting.
- 7Confident walking in and around cars in the drive-thru line, maintaining awareness.
- 8Skill with a utility knife for opening boxes and handling stock safely.
- 9Flexible schedule: early 5 a.m. starts and late 11:30 p.m. closes, plus weekends and holidays.
- 10A warm, outgoing personality that thrives on making people smile.
