Bar Back at Cala Scottsdale - FOH Support & Bar Prep
Overview
Own the behind the scenes flow to keep the bar stocked, clean, and prepared for peak service. You’ll support bartenders by restocking glassware, garnishes, and supplies while ensuring safety and sanitation standards. Work closely with the Bar Manager to maintain opening and closing checklists and assist across shifts. This role blends fast-paced coordination with hands-on prep to keep the bar running smoothly.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and stock bar with glassware, ice, garnishes, spirits, and mixers to support high-volume service
- 2Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times to speed up service
- 3Assist bartenders with prep, garnishing, and restocking during service to improve efficiency
- 4Collect trash, recycling, and dirty glassware to keep the bar stocked and tidy
- 5Monitor keg levels and assist with beer and cocktail tap maintenance to prevent outages
- 6Set up and break down the bar each shift following opening and closing checklists
- 7Support team needs across FOH to act as an essential utility player
- 8Uphold safety and sanitation standards for all bar tools and surfaces
Requirements5
- 1Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- 2Must have or obtain a current Arizona Food Handler’s Card and Liquor License
- 3Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- 4Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 5Fast learner and quick on your feet
