What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain bakery displays with accurate pricing and face decorations to maximize sales
- 2Assist in preparing, baking, and packaging goods to ensure freshness for customers
- 3Provide high level customer service, answer questions, and take special orders
- 4Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment including floors, shelves, and cases
- 5Receive inspect and log shipments for meal accuracy temperature and quality
- 6Rotate inventory discard outdated items and ensure product rotation with correct labeling
- 7Support inventory management by stocking, facing, and pricing bakery products
- 8Operate tools and equipment such as knives scales wrappers compactors pallet jacks in a safe manner
- 9Respond to customer needs and maintain a positive friendly store atmosphere
- 10Adhere to safety health and weights and measures regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit
Requirements10
- 1Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years bakery experience or a combination of education and experience
- 2Able to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- 3Outgoing friendly demeanor and positive attitude with strong communication skills
- 4Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment
- 5Able to answer phones and take special orders and perform general housekeeping in the department
- 6Be able to operate and use knives scales wrappers compactors garbage disposals pallet jacks and hand trucks
- 7Capable of standing for up to 3 hours at a time and lifting up to 40 lbs with assistance if needed
- 8Meet safety health regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit
- 9Willingness to adapt to a fast paced environment and multi-task
- 10Commit to maintaining clean organized workspace and adhere to company policies
