Bagger, Part Time at Harris Teeter
Overview
Lead bagging and customer service at a DC Harris Teeter store with on site support and a part time schedule. You will follow bagging procedures, assist carryout and parcel pickup, load merchandise into customer vehicles, and return shopping carts. This role emphasizes friendly service, teamwork, and basic math and communication skills. This position is onsite in Washington, DC and paid hourly.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build strong customer relations by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations in every visit
- 2Bag, load, and transport merchandise into customers' vehicles following store procedures
- 3Provide carryout and parcel pickup assistance and return shopping carts to proper locations
- 4Follow safety and product knowledge training to maintain store standards
- 5Support team with basic tasks and communicate effectively in one on one and small group settings
Requirements5
- 118+ years old or older with valid eligibility to work
- 2Complete company training including new hire orientation and safety training
- 3Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- 4Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- 5Basic English reading writing and arithmetic skills
