Grocery Stock Clerk, 3rd Shift at Harris Teeter
Overview
Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations at scale. Work with a team to stock, process, package, and prepare products while maintaining Grocery Standards. Provide customer service, assist unloading and reloading salvage, and keep work areas clean. This role centers on teamwork, safety, and accurate product handling. What makes this role different is hands-on stocking during the 3rd shift in a busy grocery environment.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build stock lists and organize shelves to meet customer demand during the 3rd shift
- 2Stock, package, and process products according to Grocery Standards and safety guidelines
- 3Provide customer service and answer questions to support sales and satisfaction
- 4Unload incoming stock and reload salvage to minimize waste and maximize shelf availability
- 5Maintain clean work areas and follow safety procedures to prevent incidents
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 21-3 months related experience or training
- 3Must be at least 18 years old
- 4Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds and perform repetitive motions
- 5Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate in English
