Own the design, development, and support of Azure databases and Data Lakehouse environments at Noblesoft Technologies, serving a hybrid role in Saint Paul, MN. You will administer and secure data reserves, ensuring reliable and efficient data access for critical business operations. Work alongside a focused team on a 12-month project, with a clear path to long-term impact. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement Azure SQL and Data Lakehouse solutions to support integrated data reserves.
- 2Administer and maintain Azure databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- 3Secure data assets, implementing role-based access control and encryption.
- 4Develop and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing.
- 5Automate database deployment and monitoring using Azure DevOps and PowerShell.
- 6Collaborate with data engineers to ingest and transform data into the Lakehouse.
- 7Troubleshoot and resolve database performance and connectivity issues.
- 8Participate in on-call rotation for Level 1 and Level 2 support.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of experience with Azure Database technologies, including Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse.
- 23+ years in Data Lakehouse or Data Lake architecture, with hands-on Delta Lake experience.
- 3Strong T-SQL skills, including stored procedures and performance tuning.
- 4Experience with Azure Data Factory for data movement and orchestration.
- 5Knowledge of Azure Security (RBAC, encryption, and firewall rules).
- 6Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and database automation.
- 7Ability to work on-site in Saint Paul, MN, in a hybrid model.
