Overview
Own the design and build of Azure AI Document Intelligence pipelines that process 1M+ documents a month with OCR accuracy above 99%. You will lead a team of 5 engineers and data scientists, working on Azure Databricks, Azure ML, and MLflow. What You'll Do8
- 1Build Azure AI Document Intelligence solutions for OCR extraction on Azure Databricks and Azure ML.
- 2Ship a scalable OCR pipeline that processes 10K+ PDFs daily, using Python and Spark.
- 3Own model lifecycle from training to deployment with MLflow and Azure ML pipelines.
- 4Debug and tune OCR accuracy across diverse document formats, from invoices to medical records.
- 5Drive collaboration with product teams to integrate Azure AI services into existing workflows.
- 6Design monitoring and alerting for document processing throughput and error rates.
- 7Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on Azure best practices.
- 8Optimize cost and performance of Azure resources for document processing jobs.
Requirements8
- 112+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years on Azure AI services.
- 23+ years building OCR solutions with Azure AI Document Intelligence or Tesseract.
- 3Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- 4Hands-on Azure Databricks and Azure ML for model training and deployment.
- 5Experience with MLflow for experiment tracking and model registry.
- 6Solid understanding of REST APIs and JSON for integrating Azure services.
- 7Proven track record of leading technical projects from design to production.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
