Overview
You will own the design and build of cloud-native AI solutions in Plano, TX, serving enterprise-scale workloads. Your stack centers on Java, Python, and Microsoft Azure, with deep work in Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake. You will join a hybrid team focused on data-intensive microservices and secure APIs. This 12+ month engagement puts you at the core of production AI systems, from architecture to deployment.
What You'll Do7
- 1Design and ship scalable microservices using Java and Python on Azure, owning the full lifecycle from code to production.
- 2Build secure RESTful APIs and distributed systems that handle high-volume data pipelines.
- 3Develop data-intensive solutions with Azure Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake to process and transform large datasets.
- 4Integrate Azure services for monitoring, security, and performance, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- 5Drive code reviews and technical design sessions, setting standards for quality and performance.
- 6Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models into production, using MLflow and Azure ML.
- 7Automate deployment pipelines with CI/CD tools, targeting zero-downtime releases.
Requirements7
- 18+ years of professional experience in AI and machine learning engineering.
- 23+ years of hands-on development with Java and Python.
- 34+ years building APIs in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Databricks.
- 4Strong expertise in Apache Spark and Delta Lake for large-scale data processing.
- 5Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- 6Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
- 7Proven track record of delivering production-ready software.
