Overview
You will own the design and delivery of Python-based document ingestion and validation pipelines that modernize Middle Office authorization workflows. Working with REST APIs and microservices, you will build AI models that score confidence, handle exceptions, and integrate with JSON/XML schemas. You will partner with a cross-functional team to replace manual document checks with automated, reliable logic. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and build Python-based document ingestion services that parse incoming files and extract structured data.
- 2Develop AI models that assess document validity and return confidence scores for each extracted field.
- 3Implement exception handling logic that triggers manual review when confidence thresholds are not met.
- 4Create REST APIs and microservices to expose document validation capabilities to internal systems.
- 5Map and transform JSON and XML schemas to normalize data across different document types.
- 6Integrate validation results with Middle Office authorization workflows and downstream systems.
- 7Optimize model inference for latency and throughput in a production environment.
- 8Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to define validation rules and refine models based on feedback.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- 22+ years building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- 3Experience with JSON and XML schema mapping and data validation.
- 4Proven track record of developing AI models for document extraction or validation.
- 5Familiarity with document processing tools such as Tesseract, OpenCV, or spaCy.
- 6Experience integrating with cloud services like AWS or Azure for model deployment.
- 7Ability to implement confidence scoring and exception handling in production systems.
- 8Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
