Overview
Own cloud migration for legacy .NET components at scale across finance and treasury workloads. Lead containerization and refactoring of Windows-based apps to run in AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design in-scope migration pathways and support mission-critical systems across AWS and Azure. Drive modernization efforts and embed DevOps practices throughout the transition.
What You'll Do9
- 1Build containerized Windows-based services and refactor legacy components for AWS deployments.
- 2Design migration patterns that move on Prem workloads to AWS with measurable cost and performance outcomes.
- 3Refactor legacy Windows apps to modern architectures and ensure compatibility with cloud services across AWS and Azure.
- 4Migrate components from on-prem infrastructure into cloud platforms following discovery and in-scope criteria.
- 5Architect applications for reliability, security, and scalability in the cloud environment.
- 6Collaborate with finance and treasury stakeholders to ensure continuity during the migration.
- 7Implement monitoring, logging, and automation to support ongoing operations post-migration.
- 8Embed DevOps practices to accelerate delivery and improve deployment pipelines.
- 9Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution during the transition phase.
Requirements9
- 1Proven experience with cloud migrations, particularly moving Windows-based components to AWS.
- 2Experience containerizing Windows services and refactoring legacy apps for cloud deployment.
- 3Familiarity with on-prem to cloud migration patterns and cost/architecture tradeoffs.
- 4Understanding of finance and treasury applications and related compliance requirements.
- 5Experience collaborating across teams in a remote or distributed environment.
- 6Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- 7Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and monitoring basics in AWS.
- 8Ability to work in a contract, fully remote setting and adapt to evolving scope.
- 9Experience with DevOps practices and automation in the cloud environment.
