Overview
The Systems Administrator will own enterprise physical security solutions focusing on Avigilon video management and access control. This role partners with security operations and IT teams to deliver scalable secure solutions across multiple facilities. The position emphasizes compliance and operational excellence.
What You'll Do12
- 1Design and deploy Avigilon Unity/Control Center and Access Control Manager platforms
- 2Engineer and maintain CCTV video surveillance and access control systems
- 3Manage system configurations upgrades and lifecycle planning
- 4Develop security technology standards and operational procedures
- 5Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware and network issues
- 6Integrate Avigilon platforms with enterprise applications and identity systems
- 7Collaborate with construction teams for site deployments and infrastructure upgrades
- 8Conduct site surveys and risk assessments for new facilities
- 9Ensure cybersecurity compliance and regulatory adherence
- 10Provide technical guidance to security operations and vendors
- 11Support testing and commissioning of new installations
- 12Maintain monitoring and disaster recovery procedures for security systems
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 3+ years experience
- 2Hands-on experience with Avigilon Control Center and Access Control Manager
- 3Expertise in IP video surveillance and access control technologies
- 4Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP VLANs and switching
- 5Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical documentation
- 6Experience with security appliance configuration and camera systems
- 7Familiarity with cloud-connected security and hybrid architectures
- 8Background in large-scale enterprise or critical infrastructure environments
- 9Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and hardening practices
- 10Preferred certifications in Avigilon Technical Certification or equivalent
- 11Experience with Genetec LenelS2 or similar security platforms
