Aviation Quality Control Inspector - Shipping/Receiving
Overview
You will own incoming and outgoing inspections for aircraft parts at Owl Aerospace, a supplier to domestic and international carriers. You work with Pentagon database and FedEx, UPS, and DHL shipping systems. Join a team of 10+ inspectors and warehouse staff. What You'll Do10
- 1Inspect incoming aircraft parts against pick tickets, checking packaging for damage and verifying identification.
- 2Verify certifications and packing lists for accuracy, recording any discrepancies.
- 3Review part numbers, serial numbers, and trace documentation to confirm compliance with FAA standards.
- 4Complete inspection checklists and log results into the Pentagon database.
- 5Sort and place materials on racks and shelves in the shipping area.
- 6Capture imaging data of parts to document condition.
- 7Fill customer orders and generate packing slips and invoices.
- 8Process shipments using FedEx, UPS, and DHL tracking software.
- 9Administer vendor and carrier contracts to maintain service levels.
- 10Resolve complex inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements6
- 12+ years in warehouse, stockroom, or shipping/receiving roles.
- 21+ years inspecting aircraft parts and paperwork in aviation.
- 3High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for email and documentation.
- 5Able to lift 45 lbs and stand for extended shifts.
- 6Strong English communication skills for reading and executing instructions.
