Overview
You take full ownership of vehicle repairs at a small independent shop in Las Vegas. You work independently from diagnosis to completion, handling major jobs like engine and transmission replacements. What You'll Do8
- 1Diagnose and repair vehicle issues independently using diagnostic tools.
- 2Replace engines and transmissions on a variety of vehicles.
- 3Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
- 4Perform major repairs from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- 5Handle customer vehicles with care, protecting clips, connectors, trim, and fasteners.
- 6Own the quality of your workmanship and ensure repairs are done right.
- 7Manage your time and workload without constant direction.
- 8Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly when needed.
Requirements8
- 13+ years of professional automotive repair experience, 4+ years preferred.
- 2Strong diagnostic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
- 3Proven experience with engine and transmission replacements.
- 4Ability to handle major repairs independently from diagnosis through completion.
- 5Experience with European vehicles preferred.
- 6Careful and respectful when working on customer vehicles.
- 7Personal tools are preferred.
- 8Dependable and organized, able to manage work independently.
Salary Insight
