What You'll Do8

  • 1Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, using diagnostic tools.
  • 2Test-drive vehicles to identify issues and verify repairs, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
  • 3Perform work on repair orders with efficiency, meeting dealership standards for quality and time.
  • 4Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional needed repairs and time estimates.
  • 5Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
  • 6Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
  • 7Complete required paperwork and documentation for each repair order.
  • 8Stay current on Toyota technology and repair procedures through ongoing training.

Requirements9

  • 12+ years of Service Technician experience
  • 2High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3ASE Certification required
  • 4B level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair
  • 5Dexterity with steady hand and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • 6Mechanical and troubleshooting skills with ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • 7Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
  • 8Positive, friendly attitude and eagerness to improve
  • 9Valid driver's license and clean driving record
