Automotive Service Advisor, Volkswagen Dealership
Overview
You'll own the customer service experience at a growing Volkswagen dealership, managing 5+ service orders daily. You'll join a team of 10+ advisors and 20+ technicians in a family-owned group with 50+ years of history. This role stands out with no weekends and no late nights, plus a salary plus commission plan and a year-end bonus.
What You'll Do8
- 1Write repair orders after verifying customer complaints, documenting issues accurately for technicians.
- 2Communicate customer concerns clearly to the service team, ensuring prompt and courteous service.
- 3Own the customer's experience from drop-off to pickup, handling phone and in-person inquiries with concierge support.
- 4Coordinate with parts department and technicians to schedule and complete repairs efficiently.
- 5Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- 6Maintain customer satisfaction scores at or above company standards, using CSI feedback to improve.
- 7Enforce company policies and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- 8Support the Business Development Center to keep a full appointment schedule.
Requirements9
- 12+ years of automotive service advising experience in a dealership setting.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certification a plus.
- 3Proven customer service skills with positive satisfaction results.
- 4Strong verbal and written communication, with active listening skills.
- 5Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- 6Organized and detail-oriented with time management abilities.
- 7Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
- 8Professional appearance and integrity in all interactions.
- 9Volkswagen brand experience preferred but not required.
