Overview
DriveTime seeks an Automotive Reconditioner (PDR) Paintless Dent Repair specialist to join our Philadelphia team. You will own cosmetic dent repairs and minor bodywork while collaborating with management to ensure quality outcomes. This role emphasizes safety efficiency and technical expertise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Perform cosmetic dent repairs using trained techniques and tools on small to midsized dents
- 2Execute paintless dent removal and cosmetic repairs as needed reviewing completed work with supervisors
- 3Remove trim to access vehicle bodies and fenders
- 4Carry out minor repairs for small dents and light hail damage
- 5Work with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on cost and quality assessments
- 6Complete repairs effectively the first time to reduce rework and delays
- 7Follow DriveTime guidelines and act ethically in all interactions
- 8Maintain a safe compliant workspace adhering to all safety protocols
- 9Promote teamwork and collaboration within the reconditioning center
- 10Meet metric performance targets consistently
- 11Learn and operate basic computer systems
Requirements11
- 1High School Diploma or GED required
- 2Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- 3Age 18 or older
- 4Physical ability to lift 60 pounds independently and transport up to 60 pounds over 20 feet
- 5Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
- 6Proficiency with safety equipment such as face shields goggles and protective gear
- 7Ability to drive and type regularly
- 8Strong English communication skills
- 9Certification in automotive technology or equivalent work experience of 2 years or more
- 10Knowledge of basic computer systems
- 11Commitment to safety sensitivity and technical excellence
