What You'll Do6
- 1Perform thorough cosmetic inspections to identify detailing needs and ensure vehicles meet CarMax quality standards.
- 2Repair and replace small components, ensuring functionality and visual appeal.
- 3Execute paint retouching, post-paint finishing, waxing, and buffing to CarMax quality standards.
- 4Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following CarMax protocols.
- 5Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
- 6Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and keep your work area orderly.
Requirements5
- 11+ years of hands-on experience in automotive detailing, including washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, and minor paint applications.
- 2Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- 3Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- 4Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles safely.
- 5Familiarity with replacing small parts and performing minor cosmetic repairs.
