Automotive Detail Technician, Car Dealership
Overview
You will detail new and pre-owned vehicles for customer delivery at a high-volume dealership in Orlando, Florida. You will work alongside a team of detailers and report directly to the detail manager. You will prepare vehicles for sale, maintain showroom displays, and keep the department organized. This role requires reliability, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Previous experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
What You'll Do8
- 1Detail new and pre-owned vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring spotless interiors and exteriors
- 2Wash, vacuum, clean, and sanitize vehicle interiors and exteriors using professional-grade products
- 3Apply dressings and protectants to tires, dashboards, and trim for a showroom finish
- 4Remove shipping materials and prepare new vehicles for sale, including plastic wrap and protective films
- 5Maintain showroom and display vehicles to dealership standards throughout the day
- 6Keep the detail department clean, organized, and stocked with supplies
- 7Move vehicles safely throughout the dealership lot and service drive
- 8Assist with additional dealership needs as assigned, including lot maintenance and customer deliveries
Requirements6
- 1Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- 2Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity
- 3Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- 4Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- 5Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift
- 6Previous detailing experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate
