You own the auto care bay at a busy Walmart, servicing customer vehicles with oil changes, tire rotations, and battery installs. What You'll Do10
- 1Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and battery installations on customer vehicles within the first 90 days
- 2Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance needs using ASCO diagnostic tools
- 3Restock and organize the service bay, keeping tools and equipment in working order
- 4Assist customers at the service desk, explaining recommended services and processing payments
- 5Follow safety protocols and dispose of used oil and filters per Walmart environmental guidelines
- 6Complete Walmart Academy training modules on service procedures and customer interaction
- 7Support team during peak hours by managing service bay workflow and prioritizing quick services
- 8Use Walmart inventory system to track parts and order supplies
- 9Maintain a clean service area, including floors, lifts, and customer waiting zone
- 10Escalate complex vehicle issues to senior technicians and document findings in service records
Requirements9
- 11+ years experience in auto repair or maintenance
- 2Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- 3ASE certification in Brakes or Engine Performance (preferred)
- 4High school diploma or equivalent
- 5Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- 6Familiarity with ASCO or similar shop management software
- 7Comfort using hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment
- 8Flexibility to work mid-shift or closing, including weekends
- 9Pass Walmart's background check and drug screening
