What You'll Do10
- 1Build and repair multiple panels including heavy plastic welding and large area bodywork
- 2Design and execute bodywork on roof and rocker panels to restore structural integrity
- 3Ship vehicles with cosmetic refinements that meet Carvana standards within tight timelines
- 4Own the use of state of the art tools to repair and refinish vehicles
- 5Scale skills by training others and sharing best practices when needed
- 6Drive quality control from inspection to final presentation of vehicles
- 7Collaborate with teammates to meet daily production goals
- 8Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area
- 9Document work performed for each vehicle to ensure traceability
- 10Assist in overtime coverage to meet customer commitments
Requirements10
- 1Minimum 3 years of professional auto body repair experience
- 2Proficiency in heavy plastic welding, body panel repair and Bondo techniques
- 3Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- 4Valid driver license and ability to pass background check
- 5Comfort with mandatory overtime as part of business needs
- 6Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- 7Ability to read and follow repair instructions and safety protocols
- 8Experience working in a fast paced automotive environment
- 9Willingness to relocate to Portland or work onsite at Carvana facilities
- 10Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
