What You'll Do7

  • 1Implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
  • 2Support clients in developing social skills and communication abilities through structured activities.
  • 3Document client progress and milestones after each session using mobile devices.
  • 4Help reduce repetitive or restrictive behaviors by applying positive reinforcement techniques.
  • 5Collaborate with supervisors to adjust strategies based on client responses and data.
  • 6Maintain a safe and engaging environment during sessions.
  • 7Communicate effectively with families and team members about client updates.

Requirements8

  • 1High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • 3Successful completion of 40-hour ABA training (provided by Maxim) prior to service.
  • 4Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • 5Current PPD or chest X-ray.
  • 6Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or 1+ year experience as a Child Development worker, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician.
  • 7Proficiency in the English language required.
  • 8Excellent communication skills and technological proficiency for documentation.
