What You'll Do5

  • 1Interpret newborn hearing screening results and report findings per AHC protocol and state requirements
  • 2Provide personalized consultation to parents regarding hearing and speech-language development
  • 3Issue referrals for necessary follow-up services
  • 4Maintain comprehensive records related to newborn hearing screening processes
  • 5Perform newborn hearing screenings following established departmental procedures

Requirements5

  • 1MS degree in Audiology with licensure in Maryland
  • 2Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • 3Experience with newborn hearing assessment tools and software
  • 4Proficiency in electronic health record systems
  • 5Ability to work flexible weekend morning shifts on rotating schedule
