You will own a portable book of business and operate with full autonomy on a reduced-overhead national platform. The firm consists of elite, partner-level attorneys from Am Law 100 firms and top national practices, with 15-25+ years of experience. You will keep a substantially greater share of revenue you generate, with no origination politics. This role suits a self-sufficient, entrepreneurial attorney who values independence and superior economics.
What You'll Do7
- 1Manage a portable book of business with full autonomy, delivering legal services to your clients without firm-generated work.
- 2Drive revenue by converting your existing client relationships into high-value engagements.
- 3Carry out patent prosecution, counseling, opinions, and portfolio strategy for sophisticated clients.
- 4Refer work to and collaborate with other senior attorneys to optimize client outcomes and firm revenue.
- 5Handle all aspects of client communication and case management with minimal administrative oversight.
- 6Scale your practice by leveraging the firm's national platform and reduced-overhead model.
- 7Maintain a high standard of work product consistent with Am Law 100 expectations.
Requirements7
- 115+ years of attorney experience, ideally with Am Law 100 or a well-regarded IP boutique.
- 2Demonstrated portable book of business (required).
- 3Experience in patent prosecution, counseling, opinions, and portfolio strategy.
- 4Comfort operating autonomously with minimal administrative oversight.
- 5Entrepreneurial mindset focused on maximizing personal revenue.
- 6Collaborative temperament with willingness to refer work to and leverage other senior attorneys.
- 7Remote work from anywhere in the USA.
