What You'll Do7

  • 1Build high quality veterinary care delivering medical, surgical, and preventive services with accurate medical records
  • 2Lead and participate in complex surgical procedures to manage challenging medical cases
  • 3Grow and mentor paraprofessional team members through a learning focused culture
  • 4Collaborate with Lead Veterinarian and Regional Medical Director to review performance metrics and support hospital goals
  • 5Provide client education to strengthen trust and deliver an exceptional patient experience
  • 6Maintain compliant controlled substance practices and records when applicable
  • 7Stay current with veterinary industry standards and contribute to case discussions and problem solving

Requirements5

  • 1DVM or VMD from AVMA accredited college or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent
  • 2Active veterinary license in good standing plus USDA license and DEA registration
  • 35+ years in practice with general medicine and surgery
  • 4Experience with surgeries including cystotomy abdominal explore pyometra gastrotomy enterotomy and splenectomy
  • 5Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
