What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee and expand an existing staff and coordinate science and technology activities in the region
- 2Generate new revenue and increase existing streams through prospecting and networking
- 3Develop and execute a regional practice area business plan aligned with global strategy
- 4Stay current on market trends and position yourself as a technical thought leader
- 5Coordinate with internal and external partners to identify and share critical information
- 6Ensure technical excellence in project delivery and resolve complex issues
- 7Track leads and forecast pipeline to meet aggressive revenue targets
- 8Develop strategies to penetrate new client segments and increase margin work
- 9Manage project finances and produce accurate interoffice/client reporting
- 10Lead recruitment of senior staff with specialized experience and provide leadership to direct reports
- 11Author technical publications and present at industry conferences
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; PE registration required
- 2Minimum 12 years of BET design experience with at least 5 years in consulting engineering or A/E firms
- 3Minimum 5 years of management experience and 5+ years developing engineering business
- 4Thorough knowledge of MEP systems
- 5Proven record of exceeding revenue goals and building profitable client relationships
- 6Strong relationship‑building, communication, and self‑motivation skills
- 7Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with independent decision‑making authority
