Overview

Deliver Optometric care at LensCrafters in the Annapolis Mall, owning patient outcomes and practice KPIs. Collaborate with store leadership to grow the patient base and position the store as a medical eyecare provider. Provide comprehensive eye exams, diagnosis, and treatment, including surgical co-management when applicable. What You'll Do8

  • 1Deliver full-scope Optometric care, performing eye exams and prescribing corrective lenses per patient needs.
  • 2Drive store KPIs by building patient loyalty and ensuring follow-up exams are scheduled before checkout.
  • 3Educate patients on vision health and eyewear options, using visual aids to explain findings and recommendations.
  • 4Partner with store management to execute service protocols and elevate the store's reputation as a medical eyecare resource.
  • 5Maintain accurate patient records and use TAB scheduling to ensure continuity of care.
  • 6Train and guide staff on clinical processes and patient interaction, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • 7Support surgical co-management, including pre- and post-op care, when applicable.
  • 8Stay current with Continuing Education and maintain state licensure in good standing.

Requirements8

  • 1Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program
  • 2Active state licensure to practice optometry with full clinical authority
  • 33+ years experience in clinical optometry, including medical billing and coding
  • 4Knowledge of Optometric theory and technology, including modern diagnostic equipment
  • 5Strong patient communication and active listening skills
  • 6Ability to solve clinical and operational problems independently
  • 7Organized and detail-oriented, with proficiency in practice management software
  • 8Residency training or surgical care experience preferred
