What You'll Do15
- 1Support efforts to inform and inspire employees while executing strategic internal communications campaigns across demographic segments
- 2Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and distribute internal materials newsletters employee feature stories and other engaging content
- 3Act as a storyteller by conceptualizing procuring and producing inspirational content including articles videos interviews Q&As infographics and photo caption features
- 4Maintain editorial calendar and content tracker to coordinate content delivery and ensure timely execution
- 5Draft talking points speeches slides video scripts employee announcements and executive summaries for senior leaders
- 6Proactively identify sector wins and milestones supporting development of success stories amplified across the enterprise
- 7Develop and implement internal communications plans aligning with company sector and function strategy
- 8Own and maintain sector employee communications channels including intranet home page newsletters distribution lists and digital signage
- 9Serve as sector intranet home page lead managing SharePoint updates news lists and A to Z listings
- 10Act as primary distributor for all-sector leader and President messages supporting division and functional communications distribution
- 11Monitor key resource mailboxes daily addressing employee inquiries within one business day
- 12Lead piloting of employee communications measurement tools collecting data and supporting analysis to improve impact
- 13Assist in planning internal engagements including webcasts site visits conferences leadership calls and all-hands
- 14Provide project management logistics and strategic communications support for sector events and projects
- 15Work closely with communications and functional partners across the sector to align messages and share best practices
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Journalism English Marketing or related field with 3+ years experience managing communications projects channels or campaigns OR 1 year Master’s degree with similar experience
- 2Secret Clearance ability demonstrated through background check
- 3Excellent written and verbal communication skills strong problem solving organizational abilities and attention to detail
- 4Proficiency in Associated Press Style and Microsoft Office suite including Word SharePoint Excel PowerPoint Outlook
- 5Ability to develop and implement successful employee communications campaigns with proven track record
- 6Passion for national defense mission and ability to connect employees to shared purpose
- 7Strong writing editing skills capable of crafting clear engaging content across formats
- 8Experience with social media audience engagement and brand development preferred
- 9Understanding of measurement tools and data-driven communication strategies
Salary Insight
$75 - $114k per year
