Associate Community Manager, Venture Capital & Investor Relations
Overview
Own investor engagement at Alumni Ventures with communication, relationship management, and operations at scale. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain strong relationships with investors and community members to deliver a high‑touch experience across the investor journey
- 2Respond to investor questions via email, phone, webinars, events, and other channels using approved playbooks
- 3Partner with senior leaders to support fundraising initiatives, fund operations, club programs, and syndication activities
- 4Help with virtual events, investor meetings, and webinar preparation and follow‑up to ensure smooth execution
- 5Drive data quality and reporting in internal systems to track engagement and business metrics
- 6Support onboarding and ongoing engagement efforts for new and existing investors
- 7Collaborate on special projects and cross‑functional initiatives to improve workflows and investor experience
- 8Assist with operation processes and programs that scale investor relations and community operations
- 9Coordinate with teams to ensure timely communication and issue resolution for investors
- 10Identify opportunities to improve processes and tools to enhance the investor journey
Requirements10
- 11+ years of experience in customer success, client services, relationship management, account management, hospitality, recruiting, operations, financial services, consulting, or another customer facing environment
- 2Effective written and verbal communication skills
- 3Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- 4Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently
- 5Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide thoughtful support to customers or stakeholders
- 6Ability to learn and effectively use new systems, tools, and business processes
- 7Interest in learning about investing, venture capital, financial markets, startups, or related business topics
- 8Experience using HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
- 9Experience supporting clients, customers, members, investors, advisors, or other external stakeholders
- 10Exposure to financial services, investing, venture capital, wealth management, banking, consulting, or related industries
