Overview

We are seeking a full-time associate admitted to the State Bar of California with 1-4 years of experience in estate planning probate trust administration wealth transfer planning and estate and gift tax work. The ideal candidate will support the trusts and estates practice group draft documents research and advise on legal issues and prepare filings while cultivating a long-term practice within the firm. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and eventually manage your own practice from existing clients and referrals.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Draft and analyze estate plan documents including trusts wills powers of attorney advance health care directives and deeds
  • 2Research analyze and advise on federal estate tax laws and California estate planning matters
  • 3Draft documents related to the administration of trusts and estates
  • 4Prepare court petitions and attend non-adversarial hearings
  • 5Prepare federal gift and estate tax returns
  • 6Research analyze and prepare memoranda regarding new legislation
  • 7Own and scale client relationships within the firm's existing client base and referral network
