What You'll Do9
- 1Analyze insurance coverage issues involving professional lines claims and E&O matters
- 2Draft coverage opinions and reservation of rights letters
- 3Evaluate claims policies to determine coverage obligations
- 4Assist with coverage litigation including pleadings and motions
- 5Advise clients on coverage and collaborate with claims professionals
- 6Communicate with clients and opposing counsel during court proceedings
- 7Develop substantive expertise in emerging risk areas like cyber claims
- 8Maintain exceptional legal writing and research skills
- 9Operate in a billable-hour environment
Requirements7
- 1Active license to practice law in New York in good standing
- 2Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 3At least three years handling insurance coverage matters under D&O E&O or EPL liability policies
- 4Cyber coverage experience preferred
