  • 3Lead planning and implementation of personalized donor engagement strategies fostering meaningful connections
  • 4Mentor and develop a high-performing team focused on marketing communications stewardship and event planning
  • 5Oversee Advancement Marketing and Communications including digital marketing social media and email campaigns
  • 6Design individualized stewardship plans for principal and VIP donors ensuring personalized recognition
  • 7Create innovative stewardship initiatives to celebrate and recognize donor contributions
  • 8Plan and execute strategic advancement events ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations
  • 9Integrate brand storytelling into events to showcase institutional priorities and inspire philanthropic engagement
  • 10Establish data-informed segmentation and personalization strategies to enhance donor relationships
  • 11Partner with Advancement Services to leverage data analytics and CRM capabilities for informed decision-making
  • 12Collaborate with frontline fundraising teams to align engagement strategies with major gift cultivation
  • 13Monitor budgets for cost centers reporting to this position
  • 14Represent the Executive Vice President in internal and external meetings
  • 15Ensure cohesive donor experience reflecting institutional priorities and building long-term loyalty
  • 16Develop and manage executive leadership communications and presentations

Requirements12

  • 1Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 15 years senior fundraising and campaign background in higher education
  • 2Minimum 10 years managing staff and budgets
  • 3Strong leadership and mentorship abilities within the Advancement Office
  • 4Proven track record driving marketing and sales growth
  • 5Exceptional writing brand storytelling and public speaking skills
  • 6Digital marketing expertise including social media strategy and email campaigns
  • 7Strategic planning organizational and communication skills to articulate mission and brand
  • 8Experience working with diverse student body faculty staff and constituents
  • 9Ability to build credibility and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • 10Strong computer skills Microsoft Office Word Excel Access PowerPoint
  • 11Demonstrated ability to work independently take initiative and embrace change
  • 12Master’s degree preferred
