What You'll Do9

  • 4Build professional rapport with athletes and parents, earning respect through consistent, constructive feedback.
  • 5Log stats and contest results promptly, using the athletic department's digital tools.
  • 6Manage athlete discipline biblically, restoring relationships per Matthew 18 principles.
  • 7Inventory all uniforms and equipment, tracking condition and reporting maintenance needs.
  • 8Coordinate with the athletic director on meet logistics, including travel and overnight stays.
  • 9Respond to incidents of vandalism or safety risks immediately, notifying school officials as required.

Requirements8

  • 13+ seasons coaching track at the middle school or high school level.
  • 2Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
  • 3Active membership in a Christian church aligned with the school's Statement of Faith.
  • 4Proven ability to integrate Scripture into athletic coaching and conflict resolution.
  • 5Completion of TAPPS or CAPPS coaching requirements for the assigned level.
  • 6Physical capability to lift 5-50 pounds and move across campus during practices and meets.
  • 7Willingness to travel to away contests and stay overnight as scheduled.
  • 8Possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check.
