What You'll Do10

  • 4Manage athlete conduct constructively, restoring relationships per Matthew 18 principles.
  • 5Coordinate with parents and school staff to support athlete development and program goals.
  • 6Input contest stats promptly and maintain accurate records for the athletic department.
  • 7Inventory and maintain all track uniforms and equipment, ensuring proper care.
  • 8Report safety concerns, incidents, or policy violations to school administration immediately.
  • 9Attend required coach meetings and collaborate with the athletic director and fellow coaches.
  • 10Travel with athletes to away meets and represent the school’s Christian values.

Requirements9

  • 11+ season of coaching or playing track at middle school or high school level
  • 2CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • 3Demonstrate a personal faith in Jesus Christ and agreement with the school’s Statement of Faith
  • 4Active membership in a local church that aligns with the school’s beliefs
  • 5Ability to manage conflict biblically under high-stress situations
  • 6Knowledge of track and field rules, techniques, and safety protocols
  • 7Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff
  • 8Physical stamina to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds during practices and meets
  • 9Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel for away competitions
