What You'll Do11
- 1Lead classroom activities to create engaging environments for infants toddlers and preschool children
- 2Implement L.E.A.P. Curriculum® while customizing approaches for individual learner needs
- 3Maintain safe nurturing spaces prioritizing child well-being and developmental growth
- 4Communicate regularly with families about child progress using diverse tools
- 5Collaborate with staff to enhance retention enrollment and community engagement
- 6Build strong relationships with families and colleagues fostering trust and collaboration
- 7Supervise daily operations including outdoor activities in variable weather conditions
- 8Address potential risks and ensure comprehensive care for all children
- 9Model positive social interactions and teach essential life skills
- 10Engage children through developmentally appropriate play and movement
- 11Demonstrate composure patience and professionalism throughout shifts
Requirements10
- 15+ years experience in childcare or early childhood education
- 2High school diploma or GED minimum requirement
- 3State compliance with licensing guidelines and background checks
- 4Ability to lift 40 pounds and safely navigate physical workspace demands
- 5Proven caregiving skills including hygiene assistance and nutritional support
- 6Strong communication abilities for family interactions and team coordination
- 7Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- 8Valid driver’s license for transportation within facility boundaries
- 9Background check clearance prior to hire
- 10Flexibility to work flexible hours including occasional after school commitments
Salary Insight
