What You'll Do7

  • 1Assist lead teachers in delivering developmentally appropriate lessons and activities for early childhood students
  • 2Supervise organize and coordinate daily aftercare program operations for enrolled students
  • 3Foster a safe nurturing and inclusive classroom and aftercare environment
  • 4Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and aftercare updates
  • 5Plan and facilitate enrichment activities during aftercare hours
  • 6Monitor student behavior and implement positive guidance strategies
  • 7Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure child safety protocols are followed

Requirements8

  • 1Experience with early childhood or school-age children in a classroom or childcare setting
  • 2Strong organizational and time-management skills for coordinating aftercare programming
  • 3Warm patient and nurturing demeanor with a passion for child development
  • 4Ability to communicate effectively with children parents and staff
  • 5French language proficiency is mandatory
  • 6CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  • 7High school diploma required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • 8CDA or Associate in any field
